The black color put me off at first but I ordered it anyway. These gloves are made of nitrile and should therefore not cause an allergic reaction. They seem thicker and firmer than others we've ordered and they're powder free. They seem to be true to size as I ordered this pack as a medium and they fit the other half as they should. Black's only advantage is that you can see everything it hits. and if you accidentally cut them, you should notice. They work better than expected and are great for harvesting or handling raw meat. At $17, they're good value. I rate this four stars. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary.
