Review on πŸš— Accu-Gage Straight-Angle Tire Pressure Gauge - 60 PSI Range by Glenn Cartwright

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to use. But don't forget the rubber pressure gauge cover!

I like this meter for several reasons. 1) When you measure pressure, the gauge will hold the reading until you press the small button on top of the gauge and release the pressure. . It might not seem like such a big deal, but it's a really handy feature. I consider it a "must have" for any gauge I use. 2) The flexible hose greatly simplifies the connection to the tire valve. 3) The end of the hose that presses against the tire valve is STRAIGHT. This makes it easier to get accurate readings without blowing too much air out of the tire valve (unlike gauges with elbow connectors that never close on the first try). 4) The meter face is large and easy to read. . The display only works up to 60psi, so the 1psi distance is larger and easier to read than 80-100psi displays. There's no point in having a 100psi gauge if you never intend to inflate a tire past 40psi! 5) This instrument comes with a lifetime warranty. If it fails (and wasn't broke), just send it back for $2.50 and the company will fix/replace it. You can't beat that! Overall I am very happy with this sensor. So far it has been very accurate. The sensor itself seems a little "touchy" for the kind of work it's designed for. The sensor lens appears to be very thin. I wouldn't want to drop that thing on concrete too often, that's for sure! So I strongly recommend that you spend a few dollars more and order the RUBBER COVER FOR THE ACCUGAGE SENSOR when you buy this sensor. The first time you drop it, you'll be glad you did.
