Bought two for different bikes. the older single speed IRO Rob Roy and the new single speed Soma Buena Vista. Both road/city bikes are 700c flat bars. Installing it on Rob Roy was pretty easy. The rear triangle was built pretty much exactly for this footpeg. Buena Vista is another matter. The Mixte frame has chainstays, top tube and seatstays connected to the rear dropout. It took some creative thought to accommodate the small space between each tube. I ditched the hardware that normally connects and supports the seatstays and replaced it with a rubber-coated stainless steel cable clamp. I've ridden the Rob Roe a lot in the past few weeks. Buena Vista - new construction. On both bikes, the footpeg is well built, solid, and stable (within the limitations of bike weight, terrain, wind, etc.). For my uses, this stand works well.
