Review on Veanic Wireless Gamecube Controller Gamepad Gaming Joystick 2.4G with Receiver for Nintendo Gamecube and Wii (Black) by Louis Mechtak

It is what it is.

So I just got myself one of these HDMI to Gamecube converters. The Eon is $150 but I have a Carbi adapter that is $75 and is just as good! (I would give Carbi 5 stars) I took out my Gamecube and found I only have an original Gamecube controller and I'm pretty far from my seat. I also have a 2 year old nephew. And the cord + nephew did not mix. (He kept tugging at it, and I also bent down a bit to get far enough). Unfortunately when I was looking for a good controller - there are a million of these "Gamecube" style controllers being made now, but they are all for the switch! DOH! So I had to look for one that would actually work with the Gamecube, and I wanted wireless. It's that it's wireless (no problem) and works with the GameCube (no problem). Connect the key to the GameCube and it will work. As advertised. Is this the best controller? No way. I would say that everything is fine, but you can say that this is a third party. I noticed a few key errors while playing Castlevania. And I'm sure a high-level Smash player will groan and groan with input lag. But just drop by and play Chibi Robo or Luigi's Mansion on my big screen TV, that's fine. And its wireless connection that I needed. It requires batteries which I didn't like at first, but on the other hand I don't want to have another charger next to my room, yes? So the batteries are fine. I need to buy some rechargeable ones and that won't be a problem. In fact, they've lasted quite a while on these batteries, at least 10 hours so far (and there's no reason to think they won't). For the price, for being wireless and not having many options anymore, it's okay; It's wireless. It works. I'm happy.
