Really nice bag, appears to be well made - very pretty, I've already had a few compliments on your taste. It comes with a detachable shoulder strap but I prefer it without at all I use the handle built into the bag. I like the tassels and they feel strong and well attached. The set includes a smaller leather case with a "leash" to keep it in your purse. You can also easily carry it It has a small clip so it's easy You can take it out of your pocket to use as a purse or makeup bag and attach it to the leash to keep it secure and in your purse.The purse has a lovely natural color and the leather seems nice and strong but time will tell if it scratches or tears easily - I'll update the review Some sort of leather patch? is a small blue square of fabric and I'm not 100% sure but I think it's for a repair. At the moment I um love it and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a large leather hobo purse. If it gets scratched or torn - simple as that - I'll update. Like any other leather, it will scratch, but depending on the quality of the leather, it should be strong enough. Considering this is such an inexpensive leather case, I doubt the actual quality of the leather. I will take that into account when wearing it and try to avoid damage to it.
