Review on 🦠 Lice and Anchor Worm Treatment by Microbe-Lift by Deepa Hoover

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So, your koi will sparkle! Here's what to do!

This and all sanitizing products are great and designed to help you get rid of parasites or lice-causing lice in your pond. However, days after starting this treatment if they have anchorworms it will take longer (about 1-2 weeks to see a difference) but whether it is lice or anchorworms you must complete the treatment within 3 days Apply weeks as follows: 1. Start with a water change: Change as much water as possible in your pond, I would do a 50% water change before treatment or if you can do more, up to 90% it will get better , it will help you reduce the amount of waterborne pathogens in your pond and make treatment more effective. This treatment requires at least a 20% water change, but the more the better. Of course, if you can't add aged water, add a water conditioner like Ecological Laboratories Pond Dechlorinator Plus Gallon 2. Use this product against lice or anchor worms. Be sure to follow the exact manufacturer's recommended amount (1 ounce per 300 gallons), you obviously need to know how much water your pond can hold, there are many pond volume calculators online.3. Add the same amount of water as above every week for 3 weeks and change the water in the pond as described in step 14 before each treatment. It is very important to ensure that no water is added to the pond during treatment (e.g. water to compensate for evaporation if your pond is fitted with a float valve), turn off any float valves to allow the Treatment not diluted and leads to underdosing. For example, I've found that my sprinkler system adds a few gallons of water to my pond each night and my float valve adds another 20-50 gallons of water to keep the level constant (located in California so evaporation is significant). If for some reason during the treatment you had to add water to the pond, you need to add more medicine depending on the amount of water. And that's it, after 3 weeks your fish will definitely be rid of lice or anchor worms! Leave all filtration systems on (biological, mechanical and UV), this treatment does not or does not affect the filtration systems, now it is so important and there is no information or drug labels on the internet to clarify this, however I contacted the manufacturer and asked afterwards and they explained that the filtration does not need to be turned off (Carolyn in the pond's microbe uplift department was extremely helpful, thanks!) no more seeing anchor worms or lice on carp or in the water means you may have additional parasites that affect cyprinids (usually other unicellular or multicellular but microscopic parasites), in which case add the following product to treat these microscopic parasites Microbe-Lift Parazoryne Ready-To-Use Concentrate Size: 16 oz. This product is great, it makes your pond smell like an exotic herbal tea (because it's a purely herbal product). To my surprise, this product actually works, although I find chemical products to be more effective than herbal products! But this product completely changed my mind. You must use this product daily for at least 10 days (I saw results from the second day). Finally, learn from this long and painful treatment until you are parasite free and don't forget to quarantine any new fish or plants for a few days. a few weeks before adding them to your pond (because that's how you got these parasites to begin with). I hope this was helpful, of course it took a lot of research, reading and asking to figure this out, I hope this helps someone as well as it is so stressful when there is limited and fragmented information on this subject everywhere when there is dealing with sick pets is animals.
