. I've been using them for about a month while they work perfectly. I attached it to the back of a fabric surface phone case and was definitely worried it would hold up, but so far it's been solid even on that imperfect surface. The metal ring is definitely not quite right. solid in terms of resistance to movement and flexing under the weight of the phone when used as a stand (maybe 70%) as it was when brand new. It still does NOT flex or fall when I prop the phone up in landscape mode, but I use it more often to prop it up in front of me in portrait mode, which worked great when it was new but started to slow at that moment. bend under the weight of the phone and fall on the table after about 30 seconds. Quite understandable given that most people probably won't use it as a stand in this way, it's just good to know depending on how you intend to use it. Period when it becomes more brittle over time, making it more efficient.
