I really love this item. I only gave 4 stars because it's my third in just a few months. You stop working. HOWEVER - the customer service from this company is exceptional! EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! They respond to emails immediately, ask no questions, and refund with a discount to purchase a new diffuser. and that's why I keep buying them. I have found that the filter needs to be changed every week or two depending on how often you use it and the heaviness of your oils. the small hole at the top through which the steam comes out must be DRY, otherwise the steam cannot escape (so wipe with a cloth); When the steam flow becomes weak, use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to clean the steam outlet at the top. When this little thing works, it's heaven. I like that it tucks in and stays in place. So far the one I have now works great; Maybe the third time is nice :) I'm now revising my review: this is my third diffuser and it's excellent! Works great, filter lasts a long time. Again, I have to say that the personal customer service I received from the seller is amazing; I couldn't ask for anything better so I stayed with them after the first 2 diffusers stopped working. Customer service matters.
