Excellent value for money

I have several Smith & Wesson knives, all of which are excellent value for money. No, they don't fall into the same category as some of the $300+ "survival" or "combat" knives, but for the money they're excellent and will get the job done. I bought this for my mistake. Pocket. I am very satisfied with this knife. While this isn't my go-to "survival knife," I wouldn't feel like I was missing anything if it was the only knife I had on a hike or in a survival situation, and it looks like it would it well fit a real fight. The knife arrived on time and is sharp although I sharpened it a bit more. The whetstone that comes with it isn't that good, but it does the job in a pinch. The knife was solid, not dangling as mentioned in other reviews. It was in new, unscratched condition. The knife is a little lighter than I expected making it perfect for camping or backpacking, perfect for a bug bag. I'm not a fan of the oversized nylon sheaths that come with most knives these days, but they will do the job. My only complaint about this knife, and it's a small one, is that it has a silver pin through the pommel that attaches the handle to the shaft. The head is flattened and flattened, but there is a small sharp point on one side. A little sanding fixed it, although I still applied a layer of black tape simply because it looked out of place. I took him on a hike a couple of times just to get a good feel for him and he cut the rope, poles. , food, everything I needed to cut. It does its job at a great price which is why I gave it 5 stars although I had a few minor criticisms. You really can't beat him. I plan to buy a few more.
