Better not try.
I messed up my LED string because they're not easy to get right to work. I had to keep cutting/splicing and they never held up very well. Once I got the lights working outside of a set, they were a different color. I pointed them in the right direction. Since you can only cut in certain places, I lost about 12 feet and gave up a long strand. Now I have two power cords on the wall that look clunky.
