Review on Mexican Tile Stencil Set Painting Painting Supplies & Wall Treatments by Major Callaham

Basically satisfied! fits wall stencils

It's not a quick project for the faint of heart, but with a few tweaks it worked. These stencils are thick/durable enough to withstand repeated application/painting/removal for any project. I bought the (recommended) can of Stencil Ease spray adhesive which allows you to glue the stencil to the surface of your artboard instead of using masking tape and it saved time and humor. I also used a layer throughout to keep everything level. Major Space Time Note: These stencils do not have a mortar "groove" or a "mortar" line stencil cutout or any of the simple tricks in their painting guides. So you need to be strategic in creating it. (i.e. the only "results" are holes and no grout line in the stencil to create the tile border.) I did my best while the stencils were in place before moving them to the next spot. for the template and then back with masking tape after the "tile" was dry to clean/straighten the grout lines. I had some paint that bled, but I think it had more to do with the texture of the surface I was painting than the quality of the stencil. I also used a set of super smooth 4 inch foam rollers and it did the job perfectly. I also applied a coat of clear polyurethane (semi-gloss) for shine reduction and protection. I would recommend watching a few stencil videos to get more ideas before you start. There are several options on the product pages that can help. So the project took about 10 hours. I love how it turned out!
