Great little airbrush compressor!

Great makeup airbrush compressor! It has a lot of airflow, actually I usually only use it in the middle area for my foundation. So if you're using it for a spray tan, the high setting is probably perfect for that. The scope of delivery includes a hose, a compressor and a power supply unit. TCP Global delivers very quickly and has great customer service too. Yes I called them with questions and they are a pleasure to talk to! Also, I think this compressor has better airflow than some other brands and that makes it more versatile. I have a dual piston air compressor which I thought would be good for makeup but turned out to be too impractical. I love that it can stand on my counter and for the price I couldn't resist it. All in all I am very happy with my purchase! Also, it sounds like an aquarium air pump. But do not think that you will get such a powerful model with adjustable air supply parameters. You will end up paying more and regret not getting this one. You need a certain amount of air pressure to apply makeup with an airbrush.*********************************** * ******** *************UPDATE 08/17/14************************ * *********** * ************ Still running like a champ! I use this pump with an Iwata C Plus airbrush and it still works great and is very quiet in my opinion. I still like it! My Iwata sits perfectly on top of the airbrush holder and I leave it there. There were no glitches, the purchase is very satisfied. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to use an airbrush for makeup. TIPS: If using an airbrush, be sure to shake your makeup well before applying it to the airbrush. The powder settles and clogs the airbrush. Hold the airbrush about 5-6 inches away from your face in a circular motion. You'll feel the cool, wet makeup touch your face and move on to the next area. Don't stay in one area for too long as makeup will build up and leave an orange peel effect. Keep the airflow low. If the airflow is too strong, you apply makeup too quickly. I've found myself using 8-9 drops for the entire face. Close your eyes when applying makeup so you can learn to feel the makeup instead of trying to put it on. This will make it better and smoother. Once you get used to applying your makeup evenly, try applying it with your eyes open. If you find yourself putting heavy makeup on certain areas, go back and close your eyes. When it comes to airbrush makeup, less is more. Use a concealer stick before applying liquid foundation if you need extra coverage in certain areas. If you use powder blush, let your makeup dry before applying blush. Use a makeup setting spray and my makeup stays on my face day and night until I take it off. One trick I've learned to make pores appear virtually non-existent is to use Monistat rubbing gel on my face. This is the same as using a dimethicone primer, only cheaper. I found it at Target and they also sell it at Revain. It really works. let it freeze Let it dry for about a minute and then apply the foundation. It really gives a flawless look to the face. Don't try to fit it into your airbrush.
