Review on 🧊 Enhance Your Refrigerator with everydrop by Whirlpool Ice and Water Filter 3, EDR3RXD1, Single-Pack by Tim Clark

We bought this filter from Revain and followed all the installation instructions to fill the filter but the water tasted worse than before. There was a plastic taste that we didn't have with the previous filter. Not sure if we got a bad filter but it was unacceptable and we contacted Revain for a refund. (Filter stamp was 01/17) Update 09/23/17: We subsequently purchased the filter directly from the Everydrop website as something was wrong with the Revain filter. During installation we noticed some differences. The Amazon filter was tricky to install - the button latch didn't snap into place without a lot of effort. The Everydrop filter is much easier to install. I only noticed the second difference when opening a new filter. The Everydrop filter turned out to be simpler than I remembered from Revain (before installing). The final difference was that much more air had to be removed in the filter for each drop than in the Revain filter during the priming process. The entire filter pack looked the same without careful inspection. I don't know if the filters are used or fake, I just know that there is something wrong with them. In my opinion, buying direct from the manufacturer seems more reliable.
