Review on 💙 Toshiba 1TB Canvio Advance Portable External Hard Drive USB 3.0, Blue - HDTC910XL3AA by Adam Rogers

The HDD itself works as advertised BUT the cable failed after 9 months and I thought the whole HDD was bad. Plug in the drive and the light comes on and I can feel it boot up but it never mounts on my computers (OS X, Linux and Windows). I thought it was a defective drive and was very dismayed at the warranty issues other people were having. Luckily I had a different cable and decided to try it and it worked! If you have problems with the drive, try a different cable before throwing it in the trash like I almost did!
