I ended up buying two. My dog's neck is 22" and I originally bought a large one but found that even after adjusting it as much as possible it could slip out. Because the collar is so cheap and because I really liked it. I just bought a medium one and it fits perfectly on it. I really like this collar. The red one looks very stylish and makes it easy to attach the leash even in the dark. I especially wanted a collar with a buckle so I could wear it no need to put the collar on and adjust it every time I put it on my pup is 70lbs no problem holding it, if he sees a rabbit he can't slip out either no matter how hard he tries.
