I bought this because I like its transitional nature. I also bought the bouncer that can be mounted on it. This gives me one item that can do multiple things. Always a win in my home. I found the bouncer attaches to the top easily and study.Since baby isn’t here, my 4 year old has claimed it and often sits on this seat (without bouncer) for meals. It brings her up to the perfect height for the table. We might have to get a second one.I’m less comfortable with my 9 year old sitting on it as I see a slight bend in the wood when she has. I’m not sure why this would happen as it is suppose to be usable all the way up to adulthood.
