Wow, this thing works. I use it in my daughter's room which is only about 12" x 12" so I never use medium settings and it still gets too hot in there sometimes. My only complaint is that you can't actually set the temperature, just guess what level of heat you want using the dial (although a digital thermostat would certainly make it a lot more expensive and I prefer that price point). It's not a problem if I remember to go into the room after the girls are asleep and make sure I don't turn it on too much. I love its shape because I never have to worry about it being knocked over and it's pretty darn cute (if I may say that about the heater). The noise level is about the same as our Dahm white noise generator on low settings and doesn't seem to bother my 8 month old who is a very light sleeper.
