Extremely popular at truckstops

Over the years I have had several of these lunchbox food heaters. I bought them at truckstops. Put your food in them, plug it in, and the food is hot about 30 minutes later. You can also buy aluminum inserts at truckstops for them which helps to keep the inside clean.Over the years I tried various 12 volt food cookers. The lunchbox type food cooker, as shown here, was my favorite.And while this is made for food, you can also heat water in it. When the top is closed, it makes a good water seal.

Pros

Husband really likes this, works well. This comes in handy when you can't get to a microwave.

Cons

The materials used in the lunch box may not be durable, leading to breakage or malfunction
