Review on Computer Progressive Multifocal Eyeglasses Black Half by Nathan Kalivas

Not very good. Best in Vision

The glasses arrived in a very nice hard case but it went downhill from there. The frames were VERY curved so the legs were pointing in different directions. It seems unlikely that they are actually titanium as they would be quite difficult to bend if they were titanium. Also, the description was for a spring hinge, but that's just a hard stop. The stems are flexible so a hinge isn't really necessary, but of course I'm not happy that the product doesn't match the description. The lenses I received were 1.5 diopters so wearing them should have been quite thin but they weren't. There is significant fish-eye distortion, which strains the eyes and is sure to cause headaches. Also, the increase from top to bottom is very strong. Combined with distortion, this causes nausea when the head moves up and down. They're meant to block blue for on-screen use, and they do, but the glare when viewed from within the lenses is intense. I suspect the two are related. I literally see my eyeballs with almost perfect clarity. I will say that the transparency of the lens material is actually very good, but with all the other issues this is rather debatable. I can recommend the PASTL Multifocal Progressive Reading Glasses, which can also be found here. I have two pairs and they are very good for about $16 - about $10 cheaper than YIMI. They don't have a blue lock or spring hinge, but the optics are strikingly good for the price. They are also very durable and have survived many falls. I'll keep looking for a PASTL replacement with more features, but this isn't it. These will return.
