Review on πŸͺ‘ Modern Navy Blue Urban Shop Rocking Saucer Chair by Robert Chandrasekar

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nice. But beware of bad knees!

The good thing about this chair is that it's incredibly soft and plush, especially around the perimeter of the chair, which (unfortunately) I've never seen on previous saucers. Thanks to its design, it also fits into well-appointed rooms without taking up much space. That's a nice chair; the blue color is beautiful! Now for the not very commendable aspects. This chair is damn low. In my first photo you can see that the top of the chair is no higher than your average bedside table. In the second photo, the coffee maker is on the floor next to the other leg of the chair to show that the seat/bottom of the chair is slightly shorter than Kerig's height. I'm 5'3" with generally healthy 27 year old knees and getting in and out of this chair is difficult even for me (head bowed, thoughts and prayers for our taller chair occupants). The pesky attempt to disable the chair's rocking function use is tolerable due to the slightly menacing squeaks and groans.Overall I love this chair (the softness just keeps me from going backwards and risking my knees!) If I were thirteen years younger I would love this chair, but my advanced age only allows me to love the chair. Nevertheless, I do not regret the purchase :)

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • So-so
