I had a strange experience with this. The first filter I used worked great; there were no problems. Months went by and it was time to change the filter again and the second filter kept leaking. I figured maybe I put it in wrong and I must have tried taking it out and putting it back in over a dozen times. A ton of water is still leaking out. So I thought maybe it was just one of the three bad filters. Then I put in the last filter and the same thing happened. leak everywhere I bought an original Samsung filter and it works great. As another poster said, the Samsung filter has TWO o-rings compared to the single o-ring on these Pureline filters. Too bad I can't return them and wasted my money. I think you really do get what you pay for.
