The table top is textured to prevent slipping and has an adjustable foot rail to keep the laptop in place. There are phone and tablet grooves on the front edge that work well when the table is flat. Tilting the tip of your phone/tablet forward makes it harder to read. The surface tilts up to 30 degrees, allowing you to tilt the keyboard to a comfortable position for typing or scrolling. Each leg is independently adjustable, allowing the table to be used on uneven surfaces, and if a leg falls between a sofa cushion, the surface can be leveled.
