Here's the problem with this otherwise great vacuum. The suction power is excellent. Until you suck up something that clogs the first 6 or 8 inches of hose that isn't removable. The main downside to the design is that there is a bend where some things get stuck. I'm talking about regular fluff, etc. You can't take this part off to clean it, and there's no point in the manufacturer making such a bend. The problem is in the hose, the part that cannot be removed. End part or beginning, however you want to see it. When I use it, it's almost always a problem and my husband has to clean it up for me. Big design flaw.
