For years I put off re-capping the tub and sink because I didn't have the right tools and didn't want it to look crappy. I can only imagine what it would look like if I used a chisel to scrape off the old seal and smudge the new seal with my finger. This compaction tool is versatile and pretty good in my opinion. I can use a side with a sharper edge to remove the sealant. Turn it over and press the right tip on the other end and start wiping. The handle of the tool is made of plastic and equipped with many silicone tips at different angles. The nibs hold well so it takes a while to get one off the pen but once you figure out how easy it is. I conquered my kitchen sink and am now looking forward to cleaning the tub. I am very satisfied with this wonderful tool.
