Bought this little mount on a whim just badly needed something to keep the phone out of the pocket and within reasonable reach for GPS/music before a long Harley ride. I was a bit confused at first how to mount the inner rings so I didn't do that, I just attached (less than) a metal bracket to the rodless handlebars. It was still great considering how much my Harley shakes and rattles. I actually used it on a Harley this way for at least a month before someone fitted the inner rings for me (made it a little sturdier, but not by much. Again, like I said, Harleys.) Considering the price, the truly perfect mount/grip through and through. It was great for my iPhone X with or without a hard case (very adjustable width - like VERY) and I'm going to buy one for my friend for Christmas who has Android and drives. Very strong. I will buy again.
