I've seen attractive pictures of backlit TVs, which I've always found to be purely cosmetic. It was only after reading an article about calibrating my TV that I bought this bias backlight. It passed excellent tests, showing a bright white light when connected to the network and turning off when the TV is turned off. I carefully applied each edge with a 2.5" margin and used all but 30" of the XX 197" strip. For a 65-inch TV, you can go for the shorter 157-inch X-frame, but around 4.0-inches of headroom is required. . Note that it also draws 0.75 amps, which can be important. Bottom line, this works for me. I will buy another one if I ever do another TV upgrade.
