I bought it to listen to music while hiking. They seem well put together. They mate easily. They stay down. The noise cancellation of the microphone is good. In principle, excellent headphones for making phone calls and at a good price. But I'm pretty picky about the sound quality and they just didn't suit me. The lack of bass and the uncomfortably thin highs made listening to music downright uncomfortable. I decided to spend more on a pair of Jaybird X3. Honestly, jaybirds aren't that great at making phone calls. And they cost more than double. But they have the sound quality I'm looking for, which is my priority. I'm pickier than most people when it comes to sound quality. If you're not an audio snob these are good headphones at a decent price. If you're listening to music from the iPhone's native music player, you can use Apple's audio equalizer settings to tweak the sound a bit and boost the bass. However, the equalizer does not work if you use a third-party music player (Spotify, Pandora, Tidal.). I doubt you can do much better in this price range so I'll give them 4 out of 1 even though I returned mine.
