Things I customized to fit my needs: Hard plastic tear-off closure with a cute cat face. However, it has sharp ears that dig into the kitty's neck. No problem. I used pliers and a carpet cutter to remove the ears! The collars come with a bell and a cute moon and star charm. I also removed both. This will prevent any claws or teeth getting caught in it. I will buy them again if needed but only one collar has come off so far and luckily I found it!
