I want to be clear - my husband bought this for me through Newegg. How do I know? Because it arrived in an Amazon box with a gift certificate. I've been trying desperately to get this monitor to work with my PC for about a week now. I got it because our family is very tech oriented and it is difficult for me to find a place with my stuff and also to combine children who want to see something. Of course, I need a USB-enabled monitor so I can move it when needed and still use my computer without overloading the TV. I can't find any reliable information on how to troubleshoot a USB-C connection for the life of me. I bought a new Newegg computer with multiple USB 3.0 ports. We have several USB-C to USB-A 3.0 cables. It should be EASY. I tried two separate 3.0 cables, the one that came with my phone and the C/A cable to connect it to my computer. The one that ships is shaky at best and won't be stable enough for just watching a movie on HBO Max. The USB A/C cable doesn't seem to do anything. I've tried everything at the moment. I'm a bit upset that my husband threw away the packaging (a habit) because I want to return it. I gave it an extra star because the concept is really perfect - it just doesn't want to work for me.
