I bought these because I needed 2 of them for 3D printing. The purpose of the print was to create a clamp on any spool of filament where two conical parts fit together to accommodate any inside diameter of the spool. These bearings were used at both ends to allow free movement but not too loose. If your spool ID is large and the spool holder (which came with my Ender 3 Pro) very small, this can cause friction issues if the line tension is not strong enough to overcome the friction to get the spool spinning . These bearings allowed easy spinning, but with enough friction that they didn't just unravel the thread. After fitting this improved part with these bearings, my prints had much smoother PLA flow with no friction to overcome to get the spool spinning.
