I originally bought this burgundy dress to wear on a cruise. I'm 68 years old, 5'3" and about 165 pounds. I bought this dress in a large size. It sits so comfortably, hugging your chest slightly and then swinging tastefully without looking like a MouMou. just above the knee. It was so comfortable and I felt so good in it that I didn't take it off but wore it all night and went to a regular club for drinks with friends. I wore it on the first day of boarding cruise and it was perfect. When we got home I bought 2 more in black and grey/purple. The black is about 2 inches shorter. I washed them all, at least the red one 5 times. Soak in cold water and hang to dry. They look beautiful, have not shrunk or faded. I didn't expect that for the price. Jewelry. We live in a common tourist area on the coast where it is very warm and humid in summer. It's probably not appropriate for the city, but these dresses are everywhere and they're attractive for my older frame. Even my husband and kids say they look good. Trouble is, I want to wear them all the time!
