Great receiver but it has its own quirks

The Pyle PDA6BU receiver does exactly what I need, just great. I installed it high up in my kitchen cabinet. It feeds 2 pairs of loudspeakers via an isolating transformer. I mainly use Bluetooth. Sometimes I just need it for a radio that also works well. It sounds great. But outside of that particular scenario, the PDA6BU may not be for you. Here's what I've noticed with my receiver: 1. When you turn the power on, the receiver seems to go into CD player mode even though it doesn't have a CD player. The display shows "No Disc". I have to press the mode switch every time to get into Bluetooth mode, which is a bit annoying but not too bad. The receiver remembers the radio station last tuned in when it is switched off and on. It's good.3. The remote control works with FM radio. It can select channels (+/-).4. The volume cannot be adjusted with the remote control. You need to turn the volume control on the front of the receiver. This suits me because I can control the volume from my smartphone using a Bluetooth connection.5. The range of my remote control is about 20 ft.6. The receiver's power supply cannot be turned off completely with the remote control. You need to press the power button on the front of the receiver.7. It is not possible to switch modes from DVD to FM radio with the remote control - you must rotate the selector manually.8. The display is bright enough to light up a room - I assume it's viewable in direct sunlight.9. The display only shows "No Disc", "Blue Tooth" and "Radio". It doesn't tell you if the selector is set to an external source like a CD player.10. The equalizer works in Bluetooth mode, but does not remember the equalizer settings.11. Equalizer does not work in Radio/DVD mode.12. The Bluetooth range is approximately 25 feet when there are no metal obstacles between your device and the receiver. The metal of the receiver body itself appears to reduce the range of front-panel Bluetooth to about 15 feet. Bluetooth works better from behind (even through drywall) because that's where the antenna is.13. Again, if you don't mind its characteristics, the Pyle PDA6BU is a very good receiver.
