Updated after 9 months of use: (changed from 4 stars to 2) The lighter no longer holds a charge. it has been steadily declining for the past few months and right now only lasts for 3 cigarettes and then it's dead. A $2.00 lighter lasts longer than this. I think I'll use the second one I've bought now and then return to the lighter when it inevitably stops holding a charge. ------------- I like that you can see the battery level and that you don't have to hold the cigarette between two poles to light it (especially while driving) like other devices of this one Type. Claims, but it's been a long time and you can see when it's time to charge, which is why you get an alert. This is the second one I bought as I thought I had lost the first one but found it after ordering this one. It comes in an attractive gift box. Now I have to decide whether to part with it and give it away or keep it as a spare in case I inevitably lose another one.
