Tie a string and it will be the best cat toy ever invented

I tied a 6 foot band to the floor and periodically threw it around the cats to get them moving. Its control software is intelligent enough to avoid touching walls, ceilings and the floor, and it randomly chooses new directions. As long as it's 3 feet or more off the ground, cats will chase the tape, but if it ever gets right up to cat's eye level, it's loud enough to startle them. The protective bubble will keep them from getting stung if they ever hit them and I hope one day they develop the skills to catch them. The only downside is that it shuts off completely if it hits the wall too hard, so I have to pick it up and keep throwing it.
