First let me say that I am very disappointed that the hardware on it is gold and not silver as shown in the picture. The bag itself appears to be of good quality and the hardware is solid and well constructed. The zipper is thick and secure. I think I have a defect because my zipper starts farther from the end of the bag and extends beyond the end of the other side. This leaves a gap in the bag when the zip is closed. Maybe it should be, but I don't think so. That seems strange. This pocket is deep. It prevents things from falling out. There are many pockets for everything. Two main compartments inside, central zipped pocket, 2 mobile phone pockets, inside zipped pocket. Outside there is a back zip pocket and a zip pocket on each side of the front. I can organize anything where it is easy to find. It has a shoulder/wrist strap and a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap.
