Proprietary app with practically unusable English localization, but it works!

The adapter forces you to use your own application. So far I haven't found an alternative. The English localization is so bad that some messages/dialogs make it impossible to even guess what they are saying. I have tried so far. The guided IR code lookup is intuitive but has drawbacks in the sense that it's weird when a device doesn't support a particular button that the manual wants you to force you to test. It's just comfortable enough not to be considered new, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
