ASUS reliability is unbeatable! This motherboard is enough for my AMD 3800X

I've been an ASUS customer since around 1989 when I built my first PC when Intel released the 386 processor. Since then I've built a dozen or more computers for myself using only ASUS motherboards and AMD processors! I've built and serviced 25 or more computers for friends and family, all ASUS and AMD. No one has failed so far! About 15 years ago I got my first ASUS laptop and updated it twice with ASUS laptops. I also put a few friends on ASUS laptops! I'm not a gamer and don't like flashing lights etc. So I didn't need a high end motherboard when I decided to upgrade my AMD FX-8370. /ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0 on AMD Ryzen 3800X with 8 processor/16 thread support. After looking through the options, I settled on the Prime B550M-K motherboard. The first thing I noticed upon unboxing was that the motherboard manual was MUCH thinner than ALL other motherboards I've ever installed. They are usually around 100 pages long and describe "all the usual" and then also describe every BIOS setting. That's 20 pages! No BIOS setup details, no RAM compatibility charts, etc. The same is downloaded from ASUS. My guess is that they have decided that most computer builders are no longer newbies and have saved some of the cost of paper. Further cost savings were achieved as follows: 1. Only 2 SATA cables instead of 42. Only 4 SATA ports instead of 63. No more Q-Connector to simplify connecting all button and LED connectors on the front panel.4. There is no CPU_Opt fan header (where an AIO pump would be attached)5. Only 2 case fan headers instead of 3. While I don't consider myself a "high-end" user as this motherboard is designed to support the full range of AMD Ryzen processors, you would think it would require additional SATA Headers and fans would give. Perhaps this board is intended for commercial builders who barely know how to turn on their computers. Basically, I'm happy with the motherboard. It does what I need and I only had to add an extra SATA card and SATA cables to work with my 6 SATA devices.
