NOT COMPATIBLE with the Verizon network.
First things first: Check the IMEI on the Verizon BYOD website. Just search for "Verizon IMEI check" and it should appear in the results. The one I bought wasn't compatible with Verizon's network either. According to Verizon's IMEI check page. As other buyers have noted. As a test, I entered multiple device IMEIs from multiple sources just to make sure that Verizon's IMEI check page wasn't spouting nonsense (like the IMEI Visible and MVNO check page about the Verizon network) and actually found devices that were compatible. Conclusion: buy somewhere else. Unless you like wasting your time.
