Review on 📷 CZUR Shine800-Pro: High-Speed Document Camera for Mac and Windows with OCR Function by Ben Daugherty

I'm a slow reader and medical student, I have a lot of books to read and digest. I purchased this product to digitize my books for personal use (as many of these books are not published in digital or audio format). I scanned and it did a good job of scanning pages; However, it didn't do a good job of flattening pages when exporting to PDF, even when that was selected. Of course, I scanned pages from a 600-page book. Because these pages weren't completely flat, and when I used the OCR system, Word didn't put all the words in a paragraph in the same paragraph block. This has resulted in me spending a lot of time editing pages to get the right information. When I work in the medical field, I see many characters that are not in English. The OCR system distorted entire paragraphs to the point of no return. I would have to rewrite the whole paragraph. Pros: Well packaged Compact Makes good scans Pedal Cons: Program takes time to learn Maximum page size slightly larger than the typical 8.5 x 11 (makes it difficult to scan full size books) Difficult to deal with characters not normally part of the language are. Auto-orientation does not work on large books. The difference between this model and the next model is that this model does not extend upwards. There may be other differences, but it's impossible to tell from reports.
