It was supposed to be easy to assemble but it isn't at all. A few bolt holes didn't line up with the bolts, and the entire frame was slightly bent and drilled in the wrong place. The wood has been sawn so unevenly that there are holes at the bottom where they should be. The metal screw points were too short on one side so with an already poorly fitting piece of wood you screwed into the edge of the wood which is bad for its integrity. In the middle layer the screw didn't go right through the wood and I had to use a piece of cardboard to hold it in place so it wouldn't remain wobbly, unstable and unusable. It was a disaster putting it together but honestly I don't want to return it. I just want new, custom-fit pieces of wood. Also, the tree looks damaged in many places. Save money.
