Very weak sound resulted in 4 instead of 5 stars.
This monitor offers the picture quality you could wish for. I was surprised by the built-in sound, it is very quiet even at the maximum setting. I'm not talking about sound quality here, I'm talking about volume, which it doesn't have. Youtube sound bites are audible, that's all. If there are other noises in the room, forget them! This review is a warning to those who might think they may ditch external speakers like I did. Other than that, the Viewsonic is a great monitor.
