Maybe a defect: Computer components

I went for the cheapest 3200MHz RAM, but I never expected it to cause so much headache and confusion in my life. Being new to assembly and getting too carried away with XMP before making sure everything was working, I had no idea why I kept getting so many BSODs and other weird things like artifacts. It took about a week to figure out that the XMP profile was causing all these crashes. I found it odd to see RAM not running at advertised speeds as I've never seen anyone have this problem. I hope it was just me that unsuccessfully rolled the dud. I would contact support about this, but I've decided to just get a RAM kit that's officially certified to work with my mobile device.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some small things
