Review on ☕ Hamilton Beach 12 Cup Stainless Steel Electric Percolator Coffee Maker - Quick Brew for Amazing Coffee (40616) by Shay Adams

I've waited two weeks to review this coffee maker. I've found over the years that what matters is not where a product is made, but how well a company wants their product to last and perform. Hamilton Beach seems proud of its name, as this heavy, well-built pot has been working flawlessly for the past two weeks. I use bottled water in the fridge and paper filters in the basket. Cold water, as one reviewer said, fools the thermostat and the pot runs a little longer and the cup of coffee gets hotter and richer. Paper filter because nowadays it's hard to find coarsely ground coffee on the market unless you grind it yourself. I like the 3-pin plug that comes with it, although it could be a bit longer, but it doesn't bother. Having tested this pot for the past two weeks I am confident in giving it a positive rating. I also have a 12-cup Presto coffee pot, and while it made a decent cup of coffee and still works, I wasn't that impressed with the quality of the pot or the flavor of the coffee. This Hamilton Beach reminds me of my mother's old Sunbeam electric coffee maker from many years ago.
