I liked the design but the instructions disappointed us. It took some time to discover the spring-loaded retractable bushing that keeps the mandrel adjustment from shifting. This should be avoided when changing shafts. This is not covered in the brochure but is crucial if the full breadth of the tool is to be implemented. The pictures in the description do not show how the plastic case opens from two sides. One side for nuts, the other for tool and mandrel storage. And for the occasional broken mandrel, it's a simple little job on the lathe to remove the plug, then drill and tap a long set screw to restore function. In a pinch, you can do it on a drill press. I suggest small plastic boxes for storing walnuts. They must be sorted and separated after mixing.
