This rivet drill is a great tool. I used a manual rivet gun on 3/16"×1/2" aluminum rivets and it killed my hands. This riveting tool made it so easy! Much faster and without pain in the hands.

My husband's hands killed him for using a hand held rivet gun and that was a great find! So thank you for this adapter and the pain free hands.

Rivets stay in the tool, that's how it was from the start. The tool does not loosen the rivets after use, they have to be pulled out, which makes using this tool slower than a hand riveter and thus completely pointless. Very disappointing.

The only problem is that it requires two hands to work and it can be tricky as you can't use clamps so I designed a mount to hold the tool in place on the drill press. Now I can use it with one hand.

Worked on 2 rivets and then stopped working, wish I had ordered before I installed the front end on my golf cart. He put 2 rivets in, after that he couldn't get it to work, had to buy a rivet gun which worked fine. Now it's too late to go back. I advise against buying this, it just doesn't work.

I bought this for setting stainless steel rivets which are thicker and harder than most rivets. Works perfectly with no complaints. Works as described. Works very well, I will recommend and buy again. Not only is it easy to use, it's easy to take with you on a snowmobile ride or an off-the-beaten-path fishing trip to replace broken or leaking rivets.

I'm giving this thing a 10 because it's easy to use and works every time. Comes with the typical 4 heads for different sizes, they seem made for casual use. It's amazing I had to hand press out 50 rivets! Well here is my 6/6/20 update which now gives the tool zero. If the rivet shanks are stuck in the head, you'll have to disassemble it to get it out. Spent hours putting it back together but the shaft jammed again. I'm done.

Seems very durable and very easy to use. I hooked it up to my Milwaukee 12V cordless drill and had no problem using these 3/16" stainless steel rivets to attach a mounting plate for an electronic safety upgrade to alert operators that shipyard personnel are nearby. I bought this because I had to put a lot of rivets in it. The mom who assembled my plastic shed used an impact wrench and removed about two-thirds of the plastic containing the screws. I certainly didn't realize this until a few months later when I was trying to tighten one of the screws. In any case, replacing the bolts with explosive rivets helped. The bad news is that I had to replace over 150 screws. With my manual rivet gun it would take ages and my wrist would hurt if I did it by hand…
