I ordered a monitor stand from Ikee to place my laptop at the height of a second monitor. It's big enough for a medium-sized laptop and is solid. This is exactly what I need for my home office. It is a hard wood but light. The drawer binds a little, so without anything heavy, everything moves when you open the drawer. The drawer holds a lot, and one compartment is suitable for standard stationery or a notepad. I had to put something under one of the legs to level it. The tree was not processed. It can be painted or putty, but it doesn't look that bad. For the price I am very happy with the product. My full sized keyboard is too long to slide under the stand at the front, but it slides from the right side.
