Our Santa Fe was showing the wrong fuel level and it was very frustrating! We had them appraised at our local Hyundai dealer and they wanted over $100 for each sensor, not counting new o-rings! If it's full, you'll make even more mess and stink inside the vehicle. Conclusion: You remove the rear shelves (10mm jack), remove the back seat (14mm jack) and pull back the carpet. Open the access covers with a screwdriver and remove the plugs and hoses. Remove the ring holding the fuel pump (counterclockwise with a hammer and screwdriver), remove the pump and replace the sensors, one on each side.
