My 4 month old LOVES this toy! This is her absolute favorite and the first thing she reaches for. It's also fantastic for the prone position. Songs and sayings can be a bit repetitive for adults, and my husband and I definitely get stuck in our heads a lot (but we enjoy joking about it, too), but they're not overly annoying. Complaints: My toddler loves sucking on objects and random bits of this ball, so I wish they were softer rubber rather than hard plastic. The sound is very loud, although honestly I find almost all children's toys. be too loud There are 2 volume levels here. We leave it on the bottom and cover the speaker with a piece of tape to make it quieter. Very soon we need to remove a piece of tape for the safety of the child. It would have been nice if the speaker was in a better place to mute it a bit rather than looking up and out into the open. One of the plastic threads (ropes?) is empty with no object. This can be used to help catch the child, but is not required. You could also place an object on this strand. Overall, I don't regret buying this exercise ball at all! It makes my child so happy and entertained. I highly recommend getting this!
