OK, where do I start? 1) When installing this magnetic mount, it was barely enough. It's 16.4 feet and should be a full 18 feet. In other words, the full wavelength is 1/2 for a chicken band. 2) Needs a two-sided PL-259 before I can add the HD spring and then the antenna itself. PL-259 is a clear weak point in this setup. If the device had a built-in antenna adapter with no additional hardware, I would rate it significantly higher. With that being said; 3) When trying to tighten the mentioned PL-259, the tab at the bottom of the magazine catch started to twist as I tightened the PL-259. Even after using wrenches, it still wasn't tight enough. I'm going to take it apart and TRY to put a washer in between the hardware to (hopefully) take up some space needed to keep things from turning. That had to be done at the factory. 4) Adding a small amount of coaxial cable and tighter connection will surely improve this product A LOT. So if it costs a little more, it would be worth it to keep your customers happy and maybe get them to say good things about your product and increase your sales. No wonder everyone says don't buy things from China, the quality control sucks! 5) If there are manufacturers who want an honest opinion on their products, I'm available.
