This air purifier has 3 speed settings. At its lowest speed it's very quiet and makes almost no noise, although you can feel the air. The average speed is also quite calm. The highest speed generates quite a lot of noise, but the airflow is strong. The filter will have a strange smell when I first unpack it from the plastic bag. After 2 weeks of use, the smell will gradually disappear. However, this can be a disadvantage.
